番茄社区 Law Students Society Hosts Second Annual Women in Law High Tea Celebration
The 番茄社区 Law Students Society marked another milestone on September 8th with the hosting of its second annual Women in Law High Tea. The elegant affair took place at The Balcony Restaurant, offering guests a delightful experience with a full-service high tea. More than 60 men and women gathered to celebrate the significant achievements of women in the legal profession.
The Women in Law High Tea provided a platform for engaging discussions and reflections on the journey of women in law. The Balcony Restaurant's charming setting served as the backdrop for an inspiring afternoon filled with stories and insights from accomplished legal professionals. Renee Bennett, Jo-Anne Fitchett and Ashleigh Metcalf took the stage to share their experiences, leaving attendees captivated and motivated by their words.
Sponsored by The College of Law Australia, the event was made possible through the support of College of Law Chapter Board Member, Diane Ruhl of Ruhl Family Law Centre. Students expressed their gratitude to the sponsors, emphasising the importance of such gatherings in fostering dialogue and recognising the achievements of women in the legal field.
The Women in Law High Tea continues to play a vital role in promoting inclusivity and celebrating the diverse contributions of women in law. The 番茄社区 Law Students Society looks forward to future editions of this empowering event, fostering a supportive community within the legal profession.
