About the Presenter
Toni was admitted in 1994 and fell into family law in 1995 with a private firm in Brisbane. Toni joined Legal Aid Queensland in May 1998 initially as part of the Independent Child Lawyer team and then as part of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Project team which developed intake and screening for ADR and the Legal Aid Queensland Arbitration program in 2002. Toni has worked in a regional office until 2008 when returned to Brisbane as the Assistant Director – Family Law and Manager Dispute Resolution Services. Toni acted as Director of Family Law and Civil Justice on and off from 2010 until secured the position permanently in 2019. Since mid 2023, Toni has been based in the Cairns office and travelling to Brisbane and other regional offices periodically.
Jade Coshaw - Acting Principal Lawyer (Family Law) at Legal Aid Queensland
Jade is an accredited specialist in Family Law, currently acting as the Principal Family Lawyer at Legal Aid Queensland in the Cairns regional office. In addition to her law degree obtained at the University of Technology Sydney, Jade holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice from UNSW. Jade has experience acting in complex parenting and property matters and has recently relocated to Cairns to ensure that her skills can help those who need it most.
