Description

This annual is sparsely branched and is often overlooked when growing amongst a lot of grasses. The leaves are simple, the blade varies from 3-13 cm long, densely covered with hairs on the lower surface. Flowers are pea-shaped, the 2-lipped calyx is covered in long brownish hairs and encloses the corolla. The standard and wings are pale yellow and the keel is pale green. The inflated pod is brown when ripe, 13-25 mm long and contains 20-40 pale yellow seeds.
