Role

The Manager, Discovery and Metadata is responsible for managing, maintaining and providing access to the Library’s collections by:

• Manages the Discovery and Metadata Team
• Supports the Library Technologies Specialist in the delivery of key University Library strategies and operations centered on the provision of a user-focused library collection that meets the needs of a global university
• Managing all aspects of bibliographic metadata and cataloguing activities within the library
• Supervising the operational delivery of collection management goals to meet strategic plans
• Collaborating with internal staff to implement changes associated with library systems that underpin the effective and efficient management of library collections
• Responsible for the management and systematic organisation of library collections including physical and electronic resources located in the library's general, special and repository collections
