Role
The Director, Library Services, is responsible for:
strategic leadership, vision and management of library collections, services, staff, facilities and technologies
ensuring the delivery of innovative, high quality, client-focused library services, collections, and facilities to support and enhance the University's learning, teaching, research and engagement priorities
overseeing business improvements and change management within the libraries
operational performance of the Library Services Directorate including physical and virtual infrastructure, financial and human resources
leading and contributing to the student experience
leadership for scholarly information management and communication
leading and contributing to the selection, implementation and development of complex information and communication technologies
legislative and regulatory compliance including serving as the Copyright Officer for the University
