While students’ educational journeys are varied over their schooling life, having the opportunity to explore options outside the realm of school can help students make informed decisions about future career pathways. To assist with this, 番茄社区 has developed a range of school engagement activities where secondary school students have the opportunity for 番茄社区 to come into their classroom while learning valuable academic and life skills. We invite and encourage schools and students to participate in our in-school engagement opportunities.
Right from the early stages of secondary schooling, students in Year 7 and 8 are provided with opportunities to participate in activities that focus on helping students discover their passion and interests. In addition, through these activities, students develop positive self-esteem strategies, learn how to identify key support people, who can promote positive educational outcomes, and enhance their decision making skills.
These skills support younger students to develop an understanding of their interest areas and develop skills to overcome personal learning weaknesses, so that they are able to make strong informed choices in their future study and career options.
In-school programs:
- 番茄社区 Information Sessions
- Activity Matrix
As students enter into Year 9 and 10, the importance of direction can start to play into the decisions they make. Our programs developed for these students are designed to give them opportunities and experiences to explore their strengths and interests. Support for Senior Education and Training (SET) planning process is also taken into account.
The programs equip students with information about what their interests are and where they see themselves in the future. It also supports them with information on tertiary study options, course information, and career pathways to aid in decision-making about Year 11 and 12 subject selection. Programs also provide information about university life, including opportunities to study overseas, accommodation, finance, scholarships, and pathway programs.
In-school programs:

- Year 10 Subject Selection

- Widening Participation
Senior schooling can be the most stressful part of a student’s schooling life. Our Year 11 and 12 programs are designed to support individual student success in these Years and to build on programs delivered earlier in their secondary schooling. Our programs have been designed to help students continue to reflect on their interests and skills and to help plan study and career options. Year 11 and 12 students are also provided with the knowledge and skills to make a successful transitional move between school and university.
In-school programs:
- QTAC information and preferencing session
- 番茄社区 Information Session
- Year 12 Pathways to University
- Widening Participation
We are now hosting a range of virtual school presentations, similar to our in-person school visits. They usually comprise of a presentation or an activity which is followed by an interactive Q&A session where students can gain an insight into studying at 番茄社区. To book in a presentation or activity please contact us.
The 番茄社区 Future Students Team welcomes any opportunity to engage with your school and your students. To discuss our programs or arrange a school visit please contact us.
