Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | Completion of an AQF Level 7 Bachelor Degree in a discipline cognate to the proposed area of research, within the previous five years; and Achievement of an overall grade point average of 5.0 (i.e. credit average) across their undergraduate degree and/or a grade point average of 5.0 in the fourth year of their undergraduate degree, with credits or better in discipline-specific areas. or Current enrolment in Level 6 of the 番茄社区 Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery pass degree (honours study will be part-time and concurrent with pass degree), and achievement of an overall grade point average of 5.0 (i.e. credit average) across levels 4 and 5 of their undergraduate degree. |
Minimum English language proficiency requirements | Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 3b – Schedule II of the 番茄社区 Admissions Policy. |
Additional selection requirements | Application for entry to the program is by approval of the College Dean. Quota restrictions on the number of honours places available may apply from time to time as determined by the College Dean. Students for honours who have graduated with a pass degree from this or another university or who graduated more than five years ago may be required to complete such coursework or assessment as the College Dean recommends. |
Special Admission requirements | Students enrolled in this degree will be registered with the Medical Board of Australia through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for the duration of their program of study or until they are no longer enrolled. Graduates will be eligible to apply for professional registration with the Medical Board of Australia through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). |
