Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | Registration as a nurse, doctor of medicine or other health professional in Australia; or Completion of an appropriate AQF level 7 bachelor degree in a relevant discipline with 2 years relevant experience or equivalent. |
Minimum English language proficiency requirements | Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 3a – Schedule II of the 番茄社区 Admissions Policy. |

Course learning outcomes | The Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education enables health professionals working in regional and remote tropical Australia to complete a postgraduate qualification to enhance their teaching and learning skills. The course introduces basic concepts essential for learning, teaching and supervising in clinical settings for health professionals. Students will develop knowledge, skills and attitudes as effective educators to deliver best practice teaching and learning opportunities for students in all health professions.
