Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements | Students of non English speaking backgrounds must have an adequate English language capacity assessed under the Australian International English Language Testing System. An IELTS score of 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5 is required (Band 1 at ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø). Students scoring below this may be offered up to six months intensive language training prior to admission to the course. |

Eligibility | Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures. |

Other restrictions | The maximum advanced standing allowable for professional development courses within the degree is three credit points except where one course is judged to be larger in size than one faculty subject. Advanced standing may be granted for professional development courses smaller than a faculty subject. However, no credit will be given for courses smaller than two credit points, or equivalent. |
