Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements | Students of non English speaking backgrounds must have an adequate English language capacity assessed under the Australian International English Language Testing System. An IELTS score of 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5 is required (Band 1 at ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø). Students scoring below this may be offered up to six months intensive language training prior to admission to the course. |

Eligibility | Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures. |

Expiry | Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 20 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed this course. |

Honours availability | Social Work honours is available in-course. Arts honours is available as additional 24 credit points of study. |
Eligibility | Social Work Honours Candidates may apply after successful completion of 72 credit points at levels 1, 2 and 3. Candidates must have a gained at least a credit grade in four level 2 or level 3 social work subjects. Candidates must have obtained at least a distinction grade in at least two level 2 or level 3 social work subjects. Arts Honours Candidates must satisfy the School requirements relating to the standard of academic achievement necessary to proceed to the honours degree. |
