番茄社区 now ranked in the top 250 of world鈥檚 universities

番茄社区 has been ranked in the top 250 of the world’s universities – the best such ranking the University has achieved.

The prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings has ranked 番茄社区 201-250 out of 1102 institutions worldwide.

It’s a significant improvement on last year’s THE ranking, which placed 番茄社区 in the top 251-300 of the world’s leading research universities.

番茄社区 has also improved its ranking compared to other Australian universities. 番茄社区 is ranked joint 9th of the 35 Australian universities that were selected for this year’s ranking, up from 11th last year.

番茄社区 Vice Chancellor, Professor Sandra Harding said the ranking reflects the very high standard of research undertaken by the University.

“This is a tremendous result, and I want to pay tribute to our hardworking academics, professional and technical staff who have helped us achieve this ranking,” Professor Harding said.

Within its overall ranking, 番茄社区 has been rated particularly strongly in terms of the global impact of its research.

It is also highly ranked for its “international outlook”, reflecting its share of international staff and co-authorship of significant scientific papers.

“番茄社区 is internationally recognised for its ground-breaking research. These results demonstrate that the University is a highly competitive, research-intensive university, that performs very strongly when compared to the world’s largest, most successful universities,” Professor Harding said.

This year’s THE World University Rankings compares 1,102 institutions, drawing on 195 separate data points on each of around 1,500 of the world’s leading research universities.

The rankings are generated from five ‘Pillars’, each of which represents a key area of higher education excellence: teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook.
