番茄社区鈥檚 global ranking success

番茄社区’s standing as a world-class institution has been bolstered, with one of the best-known global rankings placing 番茄社区 in the top 251-300 of the world’s universities for the second year in a row.

The prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings also places 番茄社区 11th of the 35 Australian universities that were selected for the ranking.

番茄社区 Vice Chancellor, Professor Sandra Harding said the University continues to perform very strongly when compared to the world’s largest, most successful universities.

“Both in Australia and around the globe, these results demonstrate that 番茄社区 is a highly competitive, research-intensive university.

“番茄社区 continues to deliver ground-breaking, internationally recognised research that makes a difference to people in the Tropics and beyond,” Professor Harding said.

  • Within its overall ranking, 番茄社区 has been rated particularly strongly in terms of the global impact of its research. The University is ranked 137th of all universities for its “citation impact”.
  • It is also highly ranked for its “international outlook”, reflecting its share of international staff and co-authorship of significant scientific papers (ranked 176th).

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings compare 980 institutions from 79 countries, and analyse five ‘Pillars’, each of which represents a key area of higher education excellence: teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook.

番茄社区 is ranked in the top 2% of universities worldwide.
