Admission Requirements
Course prerequisites | Applicants must have completed an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in a health-related field, and be an AHPRA registered health practitioner and maintain their registration for the duration of the course; or Be a current final year student of a 番茄社区 MBBS program with a minimum GPA of 5.0 or above and have their enrolment approved by the Dean of College/Course Coordinator; or Submit, as an exceptional case, evidence of professional and academic attainments, including employment for a minimum of three years in health related activities and previous anatomical studies at a tertiary level. |
Minimum English language proficiency requirements | Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 3c – Schedule II of the 番茄社区 Admissions Policy. |
Additional selection requirements | Information published by 番茄社区 or otherwise made available to students when applying, may specify additional criteria to be considered in ranking applicants in order of merit if the number of applications exceeds a quota or other limit on the places made available for the course. Post admission | Hepatitis B immunisation: Students must provide evidence of being immune to hepatitis B within the first teaching period of their studies. A blood-borne viral disease may result in a student’s inability to obtain a placement in a Queensland Health facility and consequently may result in their inability to complete the requirements of the course as accredited by the relevant professional accrediting body. If a student has not complied with the above requirement by the last day of the first teaching period of their studies, their enrolment will be terminated immediately. For more information, refer to: Infection Control Procedure Students must maintain AHPRA registration for the duration of the course, except for students concurrently enrolled in MBBS. Due to online/external delivery of this course, computer and internet access is required. |
