Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | English (Units 3/4,C), plus one of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology or Health (Units 3/4,C). |
Minimum English language proficiency requirements | Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Schedule II of the 番茄社区 Admissions Policy. An overall IELTS of 7.0 with a minimum writing score of 6.0; speaking score of 8.0; reading and listening score of 7.0. For registration with Speech Pathology Australia where English is not your first language applicants must submit results of the Occupational English Test (OET) taken within the last 12 months with grades of at least 3 As and 1B on the OET test. |
Additional selection requirements | Students will be eligible to be offered a position in the Research Honours major by the Head of Academic Group if they have achieved a GPA of 5.0 across all level 1 and level 2 subjects listed in the course structure. Students that are not offered a position in the Research Honours major, or that are offered a position in the Research Honours major but decline this offer, will continue in the Professional Honours major for levels 3 and 4. |
Special admission requirements | Nominate with QTAC as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. A quota on entry into the Research Major may be applied depending on the availability of supervisors. |
