Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | Registration as a nurse, doctor of medicine or other health professional in Australia; or Completion of an appropriate AQF Level 7 Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline with 2 years relevant experience or equivalent. |
Minimum English language proficiency requirements | Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 3a – Schedule II of the 番茄社区 Admissions Policy. |

Advanced Standing
Eligibility | Students may apply for exemption for previous tertiary study where appropriate in accordance with the Credit and Articulation policy and associated procedures. |
Maximum allowed | 18 credit points except where a student transfers from one 番茄社区 award to another, then advanced standing may be granted for more than two-thirds of the new award, where there is subject equivalence between the awards (e.g. 24 credit points for Graduate Diploma of Health Professional Education). |
Currency | Advanced standing will be granted only for subjects completed in the last 6 years prior to the commencement of this course. |
Expiry | Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 14 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the student has not completed this course. |
Other restrictions | Studies and/or professional experiences undertaken to fulfil the entry requirements to 番茄社区 awards may not be used for advanced standing. |
