Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | Completion of an undergraduate degree in dentistry at this or another University more than two years previously. |
Minimum English language proficiency requirements | Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 3b – Schedule II of the 番茄社区 Admissions Policy. |
Additional selection | Applicants must hold full registration with AHPRA as dental practitioners. Interview (by invitation). |
Post admission | Immunisations: Students must provide evidence that they have been vaccinated or evidence that they are not susceptible for the vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) of Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella and Pertussis. Students enrolled in Dental Courses are required to undergo testing for Blood-Borne Viruses (BBVs) including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Human Immunodeficiency virus before, or on entry to the Course. Professional experience placement is a requirement of this course and students may be engaged in roles where there is contact that would allow transmission of a VPD or BBV. Students are required to comply with the above requirement prior to commencing their first Professional Experience Placement or by the end of the first teaching period of their studies, otherwise their enrolment will be terminated. Computer and internet access is required due to online/external course delivery |
