Professional accreditation status | Some subjects within this course are accredited by the Practitioner Accreditation Unit, Family Law Branch, Attorney-General’s Department as follows: LB5501 Mediation, LB5519 Family Dispute Resolution, LB5528 Advanced Family Dispute Resolution – plus the Mediation Accreditation Workshop (professional development). These are deemed equivalent to six compulsory units of the Vocational Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution required for accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Students must also complete a practicum of a minimum of 10 hours supervised practice with real clients – ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø helps students find a placement, but this is not part of the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø course and students are not guaranteed a placement. One subject is also accredited by LEADR (or any other Recognised Mediator Accreditation Body) - LB5501 Mediation. This subject covers the education and training requirements of the National Mediator Accreditation Standards - students must also pass the competency-based assessment (Mediation Accreditation Workshop, professional development). This subject covers the education and training requirements for accreditation as a REAL Conflict Coach through Conflict Coaching International. Students also need to complete a portfolio and a video-recorded competency-based assessment (this is not part of the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø subject). |
