Award Requirements
Admission Requirements

Completion of a Bachelor of Music with Honours Class I or II, from this university; or
-
Completion of an appropriate tertiary qualification, from this or another university or institution of higher education, deemed by the Faculty on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Creative Arts to be equivalent to the above; or
-
Completion of an appropriate qualifying course; or
-
The applicant is able to satisfy the Faculty, on the recommendation of the Head of School, that he or she has nationally recognised professional standing and is capable of undertaking a thesis at Masters level. Evidence of high standing shall normally include (a) performances, or awards and (b) testimonials from at least three recognised musicians and/or academic referees. Applicants shall also attend an interview-audition and present evidence of their qualifications/achievements; or

Other qualifications and/or experience recognised by the Faculty as equivalent to the above.
