Course Pre-requisites | Completion of an appropriate undergraduate degree, equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree, to an adequate standard, from this or another university; or Other qualifications recognised by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Law, Business and the Creative Arts as equivalent to the above; or Completion of one of the following awards of this university: Graduate Certificate of International Hospitality Management; Graduate Diploma of International Hospitality Management; Graduate Certificate of Business Administration; Graduate Diploma of Business Administration. Entry requirements for this course are consistent with the Pathways to Qualifications in the (AQF) Guidelines for Masters degrees. |

Advanced Standing
Eligibility | Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures. |
Maximum allowed | 24 credit points and not more than 12 credit points for either component of the joint degree. |
Currency | Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 4 years prior to the commencement of this course. |
Expiry | Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 12 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed the course of study prescribed for the degree. |
Other restrictions | Advanced standing will not be granted for work experience or for undergraduate study. Candidates who are granted advanced standing for one of the following will be required to surrender that award prior to graduating with the joint Masters: Graduate Certificate of International Hospitality Management; Graduate Diploma of International Hospitality Management; Graduate Certificate of Business Administration; Graduate Diploma of Business Administration. |
