Admission Requirements
Course pre-requisites | Completion of an appropriate undergraduate degree, equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree, or graduate diploma from this or another university; or Other qualifications or practical experienced recognised by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Law, Business and the Creative Arts as equivalent to the above. Completion of the Graduate Diploma of Conflict and Dispute Resolution from this university. Entry requirements for this course are consistent with the Pathways to Qualifications in the (AQF) Guidelines for Masters degrees. |
Additional selection requirements | Applicants must have a minimum of at least five years academic and professional experience in a cognate discipline. |

Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements | Students of non English speaking backgrounds must have an adequate English language capacity assessed under the Australian International English Language Testing System. An IELTS score of 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5 is required (Band 1 at 番茄社区). Students scoring below this may be offered up to six months intensive language training prior to admission to the course. |

Supplementary exam for final subject | A candidate who has failed the final subject towards the award and who gained 40% or more of the marks for that subject, may be granted a supplementary examination in that subject. Advanced Standing
Eligibility | Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures. |
Maximum allowed | 12 credit points for dispute resolution subjects completed at 番茄社区; otherwise 6 credit points, unless part of an approved articulation process. |
Currency | Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 4 years prior to the commencement of this course. |
Expiry | Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 10 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed the course. |
Other restrictions | Candidates who are granted advanced standing for either the Graduate Certificate or the Graduate Diploma of Conflict and Dispute Resolution, will be required to surrender that award prior to taking out the Master of Conflict and Dispute Resolution. Advanced standing will not be granted for work experience or undergraduate studies. |
