Cairns business leader Peter Phillips is elected as Deputy Chancellor of ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø. He has been a member of the University’s Council since 2009, and served on the Council’s Audit Committee from 2004 to 2009.

Mr Phillips is the General Manager of Cairns Bank, a role he has held since 2005. From 2002 to 2005 he was Manager, Assurance and Investigations at Jessup & Partners, Cairns. He has also held a number of directorial appointments for organisations in the Cairns region, and is currently Director and Treasurer of Harald’s House.
