The 番茄社区 Dentistry building opened at the beginning of 2011. The state-of-the-art facility included an 80 chair dental simulation laboratory, prosthodontics, science and anatomy laboratories and study rooms. During the same year, 番茄社区 Dentistry started teaching the postgraduate course in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics.

In March of the same year, the first patients were seen in the 15 chair clinic, which was destined to become the postgraduate training centre.
